Z-Grade is the first Grade on the path of progression, and the first of the Standard Grades. As such, Z-Grade is the baseline that all higher Grades are compared to. One SSS-Grade is worth 10 Z-Grades, as one Omega-Grade is worth 20 Z-Grades, and one Supreme-Grade is worth 25 Z-Grades.
Z-Grade doesn't provide any Grade Disparity Bonuses, but still grants the title Z-Grade [Rank].

Z-Grade requires a single unit of every Poten something possesses. As the first Grade within any Rank, Z-Grade doesn't require any advancement to achieve.

Systems of Power with a Quantifying Aspect show Z-Grade as being worth one unit of a Poten. Unlike higher Grades, there are no differences in notation. Systems without a Quantifying Aspect but containing a Display Aspect will show a Poten as simply Z-Grade.

As Z-Grade doesn't require any advancement, an entity does not glow when entering the Grade. The only emanated light when entering Z-Grade is the Ascension Ceremony Glow.
